Paddy straw, Punjab
Where straw burning has been a major problem, we have shown a working answer with farmers, machine owners and industry: straw collected and used instead of set on fire.
About Biofield Power
We are an agritech and climate-tech company incubated at IIT Ropar, part of the Agriculture and Water Technology Development Hub set up by the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India.

Our story
Every year, millions of tonnes of paddy straw are burned across North India because there is no organised way to collect, move and sell it. We are building that way.
Today we deliver an AI-enabled biomass supply chain: assured feedstock quality, at scale, for CBG, 2G ethanol, SAF and biomass-to-X plants, while farmers earn from residue they used to burn.
Our mission
Straw that used to be burned becomes something a farmer can sell, with a buyer who turns up on time.
Dependable volumes of checked, traceable biomass that plants can plan around.
Fewer stubble fires, with evidence of what happened on the ground.
Ground execution
Where straw burning has been a major problem, we have shown a working answer with farmers, machine owners and industry: straw collected and used instead of set on fire.
Building on paddy straw, we organise collection of sugarcane trash, another residue with real energy value that is usually left unused or burned.
